SBS 2008 Standard Edition
Included Microsoft Programs: The Windows SBS 2008 Standard Edition software contains the following Microsoft programs:
1- Windows Server 2008 Standard technologies (referred to in the product use rights as “Windows Server 2008 technologies”)
2- Exchange Server 2007 Standard Edition
3- Windows SharePoint Services 3.0
4- Windows Server Update Services 3.0 SP1
Included Microsoft Services: Certain Microsoft services may be offered for use with Windows SBS 2008 software. Your use of these services with the software is optional.
1- Forefront Security for Exchange Server, 120 day trial
2- Windows Live OneCare for Server, 120 day trial
Customers with active software assurance on Server and CAL licenses for SBS 2003 R2 Standard as of Oct 1st 2008 are eligible for upgrade to SBS 2008 Standard and SBS 2008 CAL Suite. In addition customers with active software assurance on the Server license are eligible for a single license for Office Outlook 2007 or Entourage 2008 (for MAC users). Customers will have to maintain software assurance coverage for this product independent of their software assurance coverage for SBS 2008 Standard in order to get future upgrades.

1- Windows Server 2008 Standard technologies (referred to in the product use rights as “Windows Server 2008 technologies”)
2- Exchange Server 2007 Standard Edition
3- Windows SharePoint Services 3.0
4- Windows Server Update Services 3.0 SP1
5- Windows Server 2008 Standard (referred to in the product use rights as “Windows Server 2008 technologies for windows SBS Premium”),
6- SQL Server 2008 Standard Edition for Small Business.

Customers will have to maintain software assurance coverage for these products independent of their software assurance coverage for SBS 2008 Premium in order to get future upgrades. Customers with active software assurance for SBS 2003 R2 Premium will also receive a free copy of ISA 2006 Standard Edition along with a separate copy of Windows Server 2003 R2. Upon the release of Threat Management Gateway (TMG) 2010, customers will be eligible for a free upgrade from ISA 2006 to TMG 2010 Standard Edition. Once upgraded to TMG 2010, customers will have to maintain software assurance coverage for TMG 2010 independent of their software assurance coverage for SBS 2008 Premium in order to get future upgrades for TMG 2010. Until Sept 30th 2009, your SBS 2008 Premium media may include a copy of SQL Server 2005 Standard and a copy of Windows Server 2003 R2. You may use these in place of SQL Server 2008 Standard Edition for Small Business and Windows Server 2008 Standard respectively subject to the use rights for SBS 2008 Premium. The limitation in your license agreement against downgrading the individual components of a product comprised of one or more components, as it relates to SBS 2008 Premium, is waived. You may use the alternative version and/or edition of these components in place of any permitted instance of the corresponding SBS 2008 Premium component.
